Ashli, Trashli, Cashli

Yesterday it was reported that the DOJ, formerly known as the Department of Justice, now under the tutelage of ambulance chaser Pam Bondi known as the Department of Jesus Fucking Christ, had reached an agreement with the family of Ashli Babbitt.

You remember Ashli right?  That cool, calm Trump supporter, who a little more than 5 years ago, exercised her 1st amendment right to peacefully assemble and express her feelings. And take part in this great American experiment of Democracy. Not by writing a letter to her Congressperson or calling her Senator. 

But by throwing in with a bunch low IQ redneck Red Hats to storm the Capitol building on January 6th, smear shit on the walls, trash congressional offices, and raise holy hell in order to stave off the official counting of the certified votes and overturning a free and fair election. 

The one Trump lost.

Her family of "patriots" sued the US government -- the same US Government Ashli was trying to bring down and replace with a 4th Reich -- for $30 million in a wrongful death suit.

It's not as if the case has no merits. I'll concede there was a lot of wrongfulness going on. 

It was wrongful that Trump called for this protest on January 6th.

Wrongful that he and Giuliani and Eastman, fired up the crowd and urged "trial by combat."

Wrongful that President LumpyTits sent a mob of angry and armed "tourists" to the Capitol Building.

Wrongful that they burst through barricades and stormed past while attacking DC Capitol Police.

Wrongful that they smashed windows, busted up furniture and desecrated the People's House.

And especially wrongful, when warned by a law enforcement officer of the Congress to stop, for Ashli to ignore the shouts of "Gun" and try to squeeze through a busted door window in order to gain access to 535 innocent members of Congress. 

I'll further concede that that not all 535 members -- the ones with the Red Hats -- were completely innocent.

And now the Babbitt family will be getting a check. A huge check. Compliments of you and I and other US taxpayers who follow the rules, provide for our families, pay for overpriced eggs and leave this place better than we found it.

I hope the Babbitt clan all choke on a double deep fried Del Taco Burrito that went down the wrongful pipe.
